"To Russia With Love"

The Yevgeny Girel Orphans Foundation, Inc.1st annual To Russia With Love Dinner Dance and Charity Auction held November 12, 2004 at the prestigious Club at Nevillewood was an enormous success. Over 150 people filled the beautiful Grand Ballroom at Nevillewood enjoying a fabulous array of hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and a wonderful dinner.

Following a presentation featuring speaker Diane Cadenhead and a DVD showing the orphanage our first wave of funds will repair, attendees bid heartily on a wide array of treasures in our silent auction. From a bevy of autographed sports memorabilia, diamond jewelry, oriental rugs, a Mink teddy bear, two his and her Russian fur hats there was some thing for everyone. After the auction, the dance floor filled as the Rick Purcell band played into the night.

The YGOF would like to thank everyone who came out to support our event, as well as all those who selflessly donated their goods, services and time. The proceeds raised from this event will be invested to install new, energy efficient windows throughout the Vsevolozhsk Orphanage in the St. Petersburg region. To date over $36,000 has been raised. Thank you all.
